This is an excellent, supportive shoe that helps make walking and prolonged standing much easier for people who suffer from heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis. After wearing this shoe exclusively for several months my heel pain has greatly improved. My podiatrist told me that this brand of shoe is the best for arch support and heel problems and I have to agree, nothing compares. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who has to be on their feet all day or has heel pain.

As a nurse, I'm on my feet for most of my 8 hour shift. These shoes keep my feet comfortable all day and when I take them off at night, my feet don't ache like they used to. I also don't "walk-over" on my heels.

I have an orthotic for my left foot, and have had ankle/foot surgery on my right foot. These shoes have seen me through the several years process of going from an OTC ankle brace to a custom-cast ankle-foot rigid shell brace, to surgery (tendon reconstruction/arthritis) to a new foot! And I will not wear anything else. I don't know what I would do if they ever became unavailable. I actually started with 825s moved to 925 - 926 - and now 927. God bless New Balance!

These shoes are really comfortable and supportive. They have a removable liner, so I can use my own arch supports and come in multiple widths. Also, they are completely black, so I can wear them even if I have to dress up. And, they are as comfortable as running shoes, but they are leather not mesh, so they do not let in any water when I am walking in the rain or snow!

I have been wearing NB for some time after I could no longer find their Shoe #853 I made purchases on several other brands of shoes that were suppose to give me great support and none did - so I decided to try the replacemnt shoe #927, It is a wonderful shoe that provides me with the arch support, comfort, and fitting that I was looking for. My back feels a lot better, my feet no longer ache, and my legs feel a lot better also. This shoe really made a difference, much better than the others that I tried. Would recommend to others.
