Amazon.com Product Description Take each step with an enhanced sense of security thanks to a stability rollbar that minimizes rearfoot movement, lessening the chance of the foot rolling too much inward or outward. Stay active, stay steady on your feet, and stay on the move!

I came back and bought a second pair November 10, 2008 Roy Parker (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I want to contribute to these reviews because Amazon reviews can lead to unexpected destinations and be very educational in themselves.
I bought these shoes which were shipped quick. I liked the shoes and ordered a second pair for later. I was afraid they wouldn't fit but I ordered the same size as my old older model of New Balance shoes and they fit fine. I think these are sold a half size larger than I usually buy so that is what you will need to satisfy for yourself.
It's great not having to tie the darn shoes all the time.
Happy walking.
Worth every penny. March 9, 2009 Daniel Kubier (Oklahoma City, OK USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I deliver mail for a living so I usually walk somewhere between 5 and 15 miles a day, every day, 6 days a week, no matter what. These shoes withstand quite a beating. And they're without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The way it is constructed, the shoe eases your natural stride, so it actually makes you walk more quickly and efficeintly, not to mention much more comfortably. The velcro is nice for me because I can't exactly put down 20 or 30 pounds of mail to tie a shoelace that might be rain-soaked anyway. If you work on your feet all day, I cannot honestly give you a better recommendation than this shoe.
All day comfort March 20, 2009 Lynda Fowles (Bayville,NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife bought these shoes for me. I was looking for NB 575. I have been wearing NB for years and have never been disappointed with any of there products. I spend a minimum of 9 hrs walking on concrete (warehouse conditions) these shoes provide me with ample support and comfort through out the day. I will no doubt be purchasing NB shoes in the future. If you are looking for comfort, good look, great construction, these are it
Another great shoe from New Balance April 13, 2010 Phil Lembo (Raleigh, NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The 576 is a really great shoe for walking. I've been wearing New Balance for over 5 years, and this is the best yet.
Made in USA July 9, 2010 James T. Byrnes (Goshen, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The item was very comfortable right out of the package (I wore them immediately for a walk with my dog). The best part was my finding that they were made in the USA! I first bought New Balance products for this very reason, but then found many of their shoes to be made in China. Glad to see they have returned to America manufacture.
