| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This premium trainer provides the overpronator with optimal stability and motion control-great for those who suffer from plantar fasciitis. The Rollbar® GR, a medial post, minimizes rearfoot movement, while rigid, yet lightweight, arch support prevents midfoot flex. The blown rubber outsole naturally bends and flexes with each step. The superior midsole foam is lighter than standard foam, yet it still provides exceptional durability. The N-LOCK® upper provides the upper midfoot structure and support.
Amazon.com Product Description This durable shoe from New Balance is perfect for the extreme overpronator. Supreme cushioning in the thickly padded linings keep you stable while the Abzorb technology provides supreme shock absorption, keeping you light on your feet.

new balance 1011 August 13, 2008 Peggi Harrington (austin, tx) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
this is an excellent shoe. great motion control for pronaters. it runs small. i had to get a 9 when i usually wear a 7.5 or 8. very comfortable. good moisture control. the best runner i have ever had.
Outstanding! October 7, 2009 J. Fletcher (Northern Michigan) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am a heavy woman with flat feet, bad knees and low back pain. These shoes are wonderful for standing to watch my kids' soccer, baseball, basketball games. They are also comfortable for walking and look fairly nice with a pair of jeans. I'm extremely happy with these shoes.

Great shoes, but order up a size November 28, 2009 Megan A. (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like these shoes. They provide a lot of support and feel great. That said, be sure to order up a size. I wear an 8.5D in most shoes, but I always run in a 9D so that I have a bit of extra room. I always buy New Balance running shoes and have never had a problem with sizing. I ordered these in a 9D expecting to have a bit of extra room as always, but my toe was up against the end of the shoe. The 9.5D fits great.
